seriously, spike is terrible :/
But at least we got to see R3 and Uncharted in action
I've been wanting a full retail, mlaa version of wipeout for ps3 for the longest time. It's just sad that studio liverpool was pretty much shut down :( Will we ever seen a wipeout pushed to it's limits on ps3?
2011 is gonna be a great year for gaming. If this turns out as amazing as I think it will, it's a day one buy.
I just hope the in-game graphics get more polish, especially the AA on the ps3 version, as the last gameplay vid I saw was looking kinda jaggie.
The change from excitement to blank stares is pretty much how i reacted too. Like "hmmmmm..." LOL
and Dante number 2 works much better for me

Night + rain in the city looks INCREDIBLE.
My only concern is that Kaz mentioned that in certain conditions such as lots of cars on screen kicking up rain, the framerate goes below 60 :/ Still, I hope it stays noticeably higher than 30 even when everything is in full force.
Regardless, I can't wait to pick this up. GOTY 2010.
I'm in :D
Pixel Junk Eden music is great btw.
I just found this rather disturbing post in a forum as to why Dante looks the way he does...
[Rayge said: I know the story as to why Dante looks like that. Once upon a time there was a lead designer by the name of Tameem Antoniades who worked for a company by the name of Ninja Theory. One day Ninja Theory got the contract to make the next DMC and stuck Tameem Antoniades on the development team. Due to him being vain, conceited, and arrogant he decided to make Dante into HIS ...
I suppose I'm just not nearly as concerned with the actual appearance of the main character, as I am with all the other aspects of the game, such as (hopefully) improved story/ writing, music, and gameplay (and better visuals are always a plus).
I just hate to see a game ripped to shreds over a 2min trailer with no gameplay. Especially, when I believe Ninja Theory is gonna deliver an exceptional game just as they have done in the past.
Do all you complainers seriously want the developers to never change things up? I like it when series that have been doing things pretty much the same way over and over reboot and try new things. If you give it a chance, you may actually find the game more compelling and Dante 2.0 an all around more interesting character, than the cocky, wise cracking, 1 dimensional Dante we're used to. After playing through the forgettable experience that was DMC4, I think this reboot looks a lot more in...
you speak the truth, and after hearing the short voice work sample from the SDCC vid, it's obvious Sucker Punch know EXACTLY what they're doing when they change things up.
The complainers are HELLA annoying. The unusual allegiance to the generic, bald, personality-less, tough-guy design of the original Cole is still baffling to me. A young guy who only worked as a courier should not talk and act like a grizzled war veteran, it makes no damn sense. Though I still feel that inFAMOUS 2 is gonna be a stellar improvement of a solid original, I wish Sucker Punch would just ignore the crybabies and keep doing what they're doing. *sigh* But at least they're kee...
I was waiting to see it in action and it hasn't disappointed. It's amazing that they were able to do this in an open world game too. I seriously think that if they're able to keep the action this good ( and throw in plenty more awesome melee moves ) throughout the entire game, it will be a strong contender for goty 2011.
I gettin' so tired of all the complainers that thought the old Cole was a great character. He had the personality of a cardboard box, and talked like a grizzled war veteran even though all he had done before the accident was work as a courier. New Cole is a much better design, and sounds better too. I knew the first had potential to become a beast with the right improvements, and as of now this is my most anticipated sequel for next year.
2011 can't come soon enough....
but even as grainy and washed-out as the scans are, you can still tell that they greatly improved the AA and amount of polygons in the character models. It's gonna look MUCH better than the first. Not to mention Cole just looks more unique, design wise.
I can't wait for the E3 trailer to see this in action XD
Why does MoH look sooooooo much better to me than MW2? I had no interest in MW2, but after seeing the MoH Tier 1 trailer, I'm really looking forward to it.
If they do a good job with ironing out the bugs and taking care of AA on ps3, I'll definitely check it out. I'm loving the super detailed, Team Fortress inspired, look.
LOL!!!! Wow, you must be joking haha
nice way to illustrate your point,
but concerning the game, this is about the best looking (most interesting) thing I've seen with the Square-Enix stamp on it. This and versusXIII might just restore my faith in the company, assuming it delivers of course.
This is a perfect representation of how good the game is.
Ladies, guys WILL ignore you when playing this game, it's more interesting than you are! lol!
And Butler just kills it again XD
The environments look WAAAYYYYYY better than the first shots. Doesn't look drab at all. After reading that article, I'm really starting to get excited for it. Let's hope Jaffe delivers another classic.
